The purpose of surgical procedures for the avascular necrosis of femoral head in early stage is to avoid to hip replacement in late stage. The evaluation and treatment is important for prognosis. Traditional scheme is core decompression technique using trephine. We introduce a new method of autologous stem cell transplantation for the avascular necrosis of femoral head and believe it is an effective pathway in treatment.
